Jessica Gottlieb, Ph.D.
Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Gottlieb started her career as a classroom teacher in Los Angeles, CA. Her research focuses on how educational policy can be used to increase equity and access of high-quality STEM education opportunities. Her current projects include examining the effects of professional development on teacher leaders, student persistence in STEM occupations, and the use of accountability-based measures in teacher preparation.
Jacob Kirksey, Ph.D.
Chief Financial Officer
Dr. Kirksey is prominent researcher focused on the critical connection between education and public policy. His research addresses pressing issues in three primary areas: student well-being, college and career readiness, and the teacher pipeline. Through advanced quantitative techniques using large-scale data, Dr. Kirksey examines programs and policies to inform local, state, and federal decision-making.
Lane Sobehrad, Ph.D.
Chief Operating Officer
Dr. Sobehrad has successfully written for over $30,000,000 in external funding to support students and public school teachers. He has also been the primary architect for Lubbock ISD’s local designation system under TIA since Cohort A, bringing millions of dollars to Texas teachers. His research focuses on undergraduate history education, collegiate teaching practices, and community engaged scholarship.
